Coast Hills Credit Union: Coast Hills Credit Union is offering financial assistance programs for any existing members adversely affected by the federal government shutdown. To find out what programs are available, CoastHills members can visit any of the credit union’s 11 branches or call the Support Center toll-free at 800-262-4488.


Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center: for the duration of the shutdown, both Sierra and Twin Cities Hospitals are offering all active duty US Coast Guard members and their immediate family members free meals in both dinning rooms.


Verizon: The company announced flexible payment options and a "Promise to Pay" program that can be set up in the My Verizon app or website. Further assistance is available by calling 866-266-1445.


Wild West Pizza and Grill: is offering free meals for furloughed or unpaid workers until the government is back open.


YMCA: The YMCA is offering free admission and sometimes even free memberships to affected workers and their families. Check with your nearest location to see what’s available!
